On May 26, 2016 from 4:30-6:30, the Cobb Astro Park at Barnstable High School will be open to the public for an evening of Art in the Park. The evening will include work by current BHS students, student presentations along the Pathway of Discovery, and the unveiling of "Pieces of Our Past", a 4 foot by 8 foot mosaic installation by Michael J. Ferreira. "Pieces of Our Past" serves as a backdrop to the Pathway of Discovery, a walkway with busts of influential game changers of human history, highlighting achievements in art, science, philosophy, literature, and related fields. The mosaic is a timeline mural including quotes of influential figures and images depicting famous scenes throughout human history, all made out of stained glass. Please join us for this exciting event! The event is free and open to the public. Please like and share this event. Hope to see you at the unveiling!
